Discharge Pump: If your drain is underground, it is NOT required to have a discharge pump, but if the drain goes into the wall or is above ground, you WILL NEED to request the manufacturer's pre-installed discharge pump.
Ventilation System: Pedicure chairs that offer IMC Ventilation help meet local building code requirements for nail salons. They include a ventilation system that connects to your salon's exhaust system through a 3-inch pipe. The vent piping extends out the back of the pedicure chair with the source vents on either side of the pedicure sink. They filter nearby dust as required within 12" of the source. Thus the pedicure chair ventilation system will remove particulates from the air keeping your customers protected from harmful toxins.
