Dermalogic Large Basalt Massage Stones are hand-ground and polished to a uniform shape. They are flat, oval-shaped, and approximately 3" x 2" x 1". Basalt stones have the same heat-retaining capacity of natural stones, but are easier to clean. Natural stones can harbor harmful pathogens due to their surface. Basalt stones are less abrasive and more ergonomic for therapists.
