Dir Salon Furniture takes inspiration from the iconic design of the Eames® Lounge Chair and applies it to the salon environment with the Empress Salon Styling Chair. The original design now holds a place in famous museums such as the Museum of Modern Art and has been in continuous production by the original manufacturers since 1956. The concept of the design was to convey the impression of a well-used baseball mitt. The DIR version includes button tufted seat & backrest with padded arms and and adjustable & removable headrest. The cushions sit on molded wooden support panels in a dark wood finish. The Empress is available in antique faux leather for a rustic look. A handsome chair that will look nice in a barbershop or hair salon.
