Product Description

Give your foot-and-ankle treatment room a chair designed for comfort, ease of access, and daily clinical use. The SOLACE Electric Podiatry Chair supports podiatrists, foot care specialists, orthopedic providers, and outpatient clinics with smooth electric positioning and a professional patient experience.

From routine foot exams to diabetic foot checks, nail care, wound care, vascular assessments, lower extremity evaluations, and orthotic consultations, SOLACE helps providers efficiently position patients while improving access to the feet and ankles during treatment.

Designed for Foot Care Workflow

Podiatry requires close visibility and a comfortable working posture. The single-column pedestal base keeps the area around the chair open, allowing providers and assistants to move closer during detailed foot and ankle evaluations. The open-access pedestal design also helps improve provider ergonomics by reducing unnecessary reaching and awkward positioning during detailed foot and ankle procedures.

Four independent electric motors adjust the height, backrest, leg section, and chair tilt, helping providers quickly transition patients from seated consultations to reclined treatment positions with minimal disruption.

Comfort for Longer Appointments

Podiatry appointments often require patients to remain seated or reclined for extended periods. The SOLACE is designed to keep patients comfortable throughout every stage of care with ultra-supportive 4.5" cushioning, soft-touch polyurethane upholstery, removable swivel armrests, and an adjustable headrest that helps reduce pressure points during longer visits.

The adjustable headrest also features a removable insert that reveals a built-in facial opening, allowing patients to rest comfortably in a prone position during specialized foot, ankle, circulation, and lower leg treatments. The removable swivel armrests can be repositioned to create a more natural arm-resting position while patients are face down, improving comfort during extended procedures.

Extendable and removable headrest and footrest sections allow the chair to better accommodate patients of varying heights while providing improved lower-extremity support during foot and ankle examinations. When fully reclined into a flat, bed-like position, the SOLACE extends from 71.7" to 77.6", creating additional comfort and stability during longer procedures, circulation assessments, wound care treatments, and recovery appointments.

Practical for Busy Clinics

Designed for high-volume podiatry environments, the SOLACE combines patient comfort with long-term clinical practicality. The removable and replaceable cushion system allows clinics to refresh worn sections individually rather than replacing the entire chair, helping reduce long-term maintenance costs.

The durable polyurethane upholstery is easy to clean and sanitize between patients, supporting efficient room turnover and helping practices maintain a professional treatment environment throughout the day.

Integrated memory buttons allow providers to save commonly used treatment positions for faster patient setup, while the reset function quickly returns the chair to a neutral position between appointments. Optional hand and foot controls further improve workflow efficiency by allowing providers to make positioning adjustments without interrupting procedures or examinations.

Trendelenburg Positioning for Enhanced Clinical Flexibility

The SOLACE features powered Trendelenburg positioning, allowing providers to comfortably elevate the lower extremities during examinations and treatments when needed.

This positioning capability can be especially useful during circulation assessments, diabetic foot evaluations, vascular observations, lower-extremity treatments, and longer podiatric procedures, where improved patient positioning and leg elevation enhance both comfort and clinical accessibility.

The ability to quickly adjust patient positioning also helps providers respond more comfortably to patients who may experience lightheadedness or discomfort during extended treatments or sensitive procedures.
