Custom-made in Italy, the Tecnodent Linda Evo is an electric medical treatment chair designed for examinations, consultations, and professional office-based procedures. Its compact knee-break design allows the patient to sit while the chair is upright, before powered positioning moves it into the preferred working position.
Three programmable positions, synchronized backrest and legrest movement, hands-free joystick control, and smooth electromechanical operation help support an efficient clinical workflow. The current configuration also includes seamless memory foam upholstery, a UNI multi-articulated headrest, and rotating armrests on both sides.
The Linda Evo combines the positioning capabilities of an electric examination chair with the welcoming appearance of contemporary Italian furniture. Its adjustable patient surface can support consultations, routine examinations, imaging, and a variety of professional services performed in dermatology, podiatry, plastic surgery, general medicine, and other specialty practices.
Its streamlined shape and compact footprint make it especially practical for private offices and treatment rooms where clinical access, efficient use of space, and interior design are all important considerations.
Unlike a traditional flat examination table, the Linda Evo begins in a chair-like position. The patient can approach the chair and sit naturally before positioning begins, reducing the need to climb onto an elevated treatment surface.
Rotating armrests provide support during entry and exit, then pivot outward when the provider needs more open access to the treatment area. Once the patient is seated, powered movement transitions the chair from upright seating to a reclined examination or treatment position.
As the backrest reclines, the legrest extends in a synchronized motion to create a longer, continuously supported patient surface. The seat can tilt between +7 and +18 degrees, while the backrest moves through a range of 0 to 76 degrees.
The chair also provides up to 18 degrees of Trendelenburg positioning, giving qualified facilities additional positioning flexibility when appropriate for the service being performed and the facility’s established protocols.
Providers can save three frequently used chair positions and recall them without having to manually recreate each adjustment. This makes it easier to establish consistent settings for consultations, examinations, imaging, and other recurring services.
Additional automatic programs simplify common chair movements:

A base-mounted foot joystick allows the provider to adjust chair height, backrest movement, and programmed positions without reaching for a handheld control. This convenient operating format keeps positioning controls readily available while leaving the provider’s hands free for other tasks.
An optional infrared remote control can also be added, allowing the chair to be operated from different positions around the treatment room.
The Linda Evo uses low-voltage 24V DC linear actuators for powered chair movement. Soft-start and soft-stop technology allows adjustments to begin and end gradually, while Hall-sensor limit switches support controlled travel throughout the chair’s movement range.
Synchronized backrest and legrest operation helps maintain a smooth transition as the chair moves between upright, reclined, and programmed working positions.
Measuring approximately 68.9 inches long, the Linda Evo offers a compact alternative to many full-length medical examination tables. Its knee-break configuration occupies even less room when placed upright, helping preserve working space around stools, lights, carts, imaging equipment, and other supporting instruments.
The chair’s symmetrical construction accommodates right- or left-handed workflows. A high anatomical backrest supports the patient while maintaining a streamlined profile that allows the provider to work comfortably around the chair.

The UNI headrest provides multiple adjustment axes for more precise head and neck positioning during upright or reclined services. Its contoured cushion can be adjusted independently of the main chair position, helping the provider establish an appropriate working angle without repeatedly repositioning the entire chair.

Tecnodent uses viscoelastic polyurethane memory foam that responds to body heat and gradually conforms to the patient’s shape, helping distribute pressure more evenly for greater comfort during longer appointments.
The foam is integrated into seamless molded upholstery, combining supportive cushioning with a smooth, easy-to-clean surface suited to professional medical environments.

Rotating armrests on both sides provide added support as patients enter, exit, and reposition in the chair. Each armrest pivots outward to open the chair's sides when greater access is needed, then returns easily to provide comfortable arm support during consultations, examinations, and treatments.
The optional 320-degree rotating base allows the Linda Evo to be oriented around the treatment room without repeatedly moving the surrounding equipment. Providers can turn the patient toward an examination light, imaging system, instrument cart, or another working area as needed.
This option is particularly useful in compact rooms and multidisciplinary spaces where the chair’s orientation may change between consultations, examinations, and procedures.
The Linda Evo is FDA-listed for sale in the United States and complies with the applicable requirements of the European Medical Device Regulation MDR 2017/745. Tecnodent also describes the chair as designed and preset for UL certification.
Safety stops incorporated into the backrest and lifting arm help protect the chair, patient, and nearby equipment during powered movement.
The Tecnodent Linda Evo is suitable for professional environments that benefit from seated entry, powered height adjustment, and flexible upright-to-reclined positioning. Potential settings include:
Suitability for a particular examination or procedure should be determined by the facility based on the selected chair configuration, required accessories, professional protocol, and applicable regulations.
