Tecnodent Linda Evo Italian Electric Dental Chair
Made in Italy, the Tecnodent Linda Evo combines contemporary European design with an accessible knee-break format for modern dental practices. This non-integrated electric dental chair features three programmable working positions, hands-free joystick operation, synchronized backrest and legrest movement, and an upgraded standard configuration with memory foam upholstery, a multi-articulated UNI headrest, and dual rotating armrests.
The Linda Evo is the latest evolution of Tecnodent's longstanding Linda 3 platform. It preserves the clean lines, compact footprint, and convenient patient access of the original design while adding updated low-voltage movement technology, soft-start and soft-stop operation, and an enveloping anatomical backrest.

Italian Design and Craftsmanship
Tecnodent has designed and manufactured professional dental and medical seating in Italy since 1966. The Linda Evo reflects this heritage through its sculpted structure, coordinated split-section upholstery, refined detailing, and precision electromechanical movement.

Accessible Knee-Break Dental Chair Design
The Linda Evo combines a compact knee-break design with an upright seating position that creates a welcoming and accessible patient experience. Rather than requiring patients to climb onto a fully extended treatment surface, the chair allows them to sit naturally before smooth powered positioning begins.
As the backrest reclines, synchronized movement of the legrest supports the lower body and guides the patient comfortably from a consultation position to a reclined treatment position. This coordinated motion helps maintain continuous support throughout the transition while providing the flexibility needed for a wide range of dental procedures.
Designed to accommodate patients of different ages, body types, and mobility levels, the Linda Evo's knee-break configuration promotes confident entry and exit while giving clinicians a versatile treatment chair that adapts easily to everyday practice needs.
Compact Design for the Modern Operatory
With an overall length of approximately 68.9 inches, the Linda Evo offers a compact profile that helps preserve working space around cabinetry, delivery equipment, operator stools, and mobile clinical carts. Its knee-break configuration further reduces the space the chair occupies when upright.
Because the Linda Evo is a non-integrated dental chair, it can be arranged with the practice's preferred delivery system, dental light, imaging equipment, cabinetry, and supporting instruments. This provides greater freedom when planning a new operatory or updating an existing treatment room.
Three Programmable Working Positions
Three customized working positions can be stored for frequently used dental settings. Clinicians can quickly recall preferred examination and treatment positions without having to manually recreate each adjustment throughout the day.
The Linda Evo also includes automatic programs that simplify common patient transitions:
- Zero position: Returns the chair to its lowered patient-entry position
- Rinse position: Moves the patient into a more upright position
- Last-position return: Returns the chair to the previous working position after the rinse cycle
Hands-Free Joystick Control
A base-mounted joystick allows the clinician to control chair height, backrest movement, and programmed positions by foot. This intuitive hands-free control helps the dentist or hygienist reposition the patient without reaching for a handheld controller or interrupting the clinical workflow.
An optional infrared remote control may also be added for practices that want the flexibility to operate the chair from different positions around the operatory.
Designed for Dental Access
The high, enveloping anatomical backrest supports the patient while maintaining a streamlined profile around the treatment area. Complete symmetry allows the Linda Evo to be arranged for right- or left-handed dentists and hygienists.
The chair's non-integrated configuration, compact footprint, and independently selected supporting equipment allow each operatory to be organized around the provider's preferred positioning and workflow.
UNI Multi-Articulated Headrest
The UNI headrest comes standard on the Linda Evo dental operatory chair. Its multiple adjustment axes help the clinician position the patient for improved access to the upper or lower arch without repeatedly repositioning the entire chair. The contoured cushion supports the head while maintaining the Linda Evo's distinctive coordinated design.
Seamless Memory Foam Upholstery
Memory foam upholstery is included as standard equipment. Tecnodent uses viscoelastic polyurethane that responds to body heat and gradually conforms to the patient's shape, helping distribute pressure more evenly across the seating surface during longer appointments.
The memory foam is incorporated into a seamless molded upholstery design that combines supportive cushioning with a smooth, easy-to-clean surface suitable for professional dental environments.
Dual Rotating Armrests
Rotating armrests on both sides of the Linda Evo now come standard, providing additional support as patients enter, exit, and reposition in the chair. Each armrest pivots outward when unobstructed access is needed and returns easily to provide comfortable arm support during consultation and treatment.
Combined with the upright knee-break entry position, the dual armrests help create a more accessible and reassuring seating experience while giving clinicians greater flexibility around the patient.
Smooth Electromechanical Positioning
The Linda Evo uses low-voltage 24V DC linear actuators for powered height, backrest, seat, and legrest movement. Soft-start and soft-stop technology help each adjustment begin and end gradually rather than moving abruptly.
Hall-sensor limit switches support controlled travel throughout the chair's movement range, while synchronized backrest and legrest operation creates a smooth transition between upright and reclined positions.
Safety and U.S. Market Compliance
The Linda Evo is FDA approved for sale in the United States and complies with the essential safety requirements of the European Medical Device Regulation MDR 2017/745. It is also designed and preset for UL certification.
Safety stops incorporated into the backrest and lifting arm help protect the patient, chair, and surrounding equipment during powered movement.
