Made in Italy, the Tecnodent Linda Evo is a compact electric medical treatment chair designed for examinations, consultations, and professional procedures. Its accessible knee-break format allows patients to enter while the chair is upright, then transition through smooth powered movement into a reclined treatment position.
The standard configuration includes three programmable working positions, synchronized backrest and legrest movement, a double-articulated Vale headrest, automatic zero and rinse programs, and soft-start and soft-stop operation. Its clean Italian styling makes the Linda Evo well suited to modern medical offices, specialty clinics, dermatology practices, and aesthetic treatment rooms.
Made in Italy • FDA Approved • Three Memory Positions • Compact Knee-Break Design
Tecnodent has manufactured professional dental and medical seating in Italy since 1966. The Linda Evo reflects this history through its sculpted structure, clean lines, coordinated upholstery, and carefully engineered movement system.
Its contemporary Italian appearance helps create a treatment room that feels considered and professional rather than strictly institutional. This makes the Linda Evo especially attractive for private medical practices, cosmetic medicine offices, dermatology clinics, and other environments where room design contributes to the patient experience.
The Linda Evo begins in a compact upright position, allowing the patient to approach and sit as they would in a conventional chair. This reduces the need to climb onto a raised examination table before positioning begins.
The seated-entry design can be useful in practices serving a broad patient population, including children, older adults, and individuals who may find access to a traditional flat treatment table more difficult.
Once the patient is seated, the chair can be repositioned electrically for the examination or procedure.
During recline, backrest movement is synchronized with extension of the legrest. This coordinated movement allows the patient surface to lengthen as the chair transitions from upright seating into a reclined treatment position.
The compensated backrest can move toward a horizontal position while the seat tilts between +7 and +18 degrees. Up to 18 degrees of Trendelenburg positioning provides additional flexibility when appropriate for the procedure and facility protocol.
Three preferred working positions can be saved and recalled for frequently performed examinations or procedures. This helps reduce repeated manual adjustments and allows the chair to be prepared consistently throughout the workday.
Automatic programs further simplify patient positioning:
The Linda Evo uses 24V DC linear actuators for powered positioning. Soft-start and soft-stop technology help the chair move gradually at the beginning and end of each adjustment.
Hall-sensor limit switches assist with controlled movement throughout the chair’s travel range. A joystick located on the chair base provides convenient positioning control without requiring the provider to hold or locate a wired handset.
The Linda Evo has an overall length of approximately 68.9 inches, making it more compact than the larger Linda Next. Its knee-break design also reduces the space the chair occupies when placed upright.
Complete symmetry supports both right- and left-handed clinical workflows. The high, enveloping backrest supports the patient while retaining a streamlined shape that allows the provider to work around the treatment area.
The standard double-articulated Vale headrest uses an enveloping cushion and two-part adjustment to support different patient positions. It can be repositioned for upright examinations, reclined treatments, consultations, and procedures requiring more controlled head placement.
According to Tecnodent, the Linda Evo is FDA approved for the United States and complies with the essential safety requirements of the European Medical Device Regulation MDR 2017/745. The chair is also designed and preset for UL certification.
Designed and preset for UL certification does not mean that the chair is currently UL Listed. UL status should be confirmed for the specific final configuration before the product is represented as UL certified or UL Listed.
Safety stops are incorporated at the backrest and lifting arm to help protect the patient, chair, and nearby equipment during powered movement.
The Tecnodent Linda Evo is suited to professional medical examinations, patient consultations, dermatology, aesthetic medicine, cosmetic procedures, plastic surgery consultations, digital imaging, audiology, endocrinology, diabetology, trichology, general medicine, and other specialty treatment environments that benefit from seated patient entry and powered positioning.
Suitability for a specific procedure should be determined by the facility based on the selected chair configuration, required accessories, clinical protocol, and applicable regulations.
The 463 lb. rating is the maximum combined lifting capability for the patient and any connected equipment. It should not be advertised as a 463 lb. patient-only capacity.
