The Tecnodent Linda Evo gives podiatry practices an elegant alternative to a conventional examination table. Built to order in Italy, this electric podiatry chair combines approachable upright seating with powered clinical positioning, allowing patients to sit down naturally before the chair is raised or reclined.
Practitioners can control the chair without interrupting their workflow by using the joystick positioned at the base. Three programmable settings make frequently used examination positions easy to recall, while the adjustable height range supports both seated and standing work.
Podiatry appointments frequently require patients to move between conversation, assessment, examination, and imaging positions. The Linda Evo accommodates these transitions in one chair. Patients can remain seated while the practitioner adjusts the working height, seat angle, and recline angle.
The knee-break design also becomes more compact when the chair returns to an upright position. This helps conserve floor space for an operator stool, examination light, instrument cart, diagnostic equipment, and other essentials found in a foot-care treatment room.
In its entry position, the Linda Evo resembles a supportive patient chair rather than a raised examination table. This allows the patient to approach from the front and sit while the chair is lowered and upright.

Armrests on both sides offer support during entry and exit. Each armrest rotates outward when the practitioner requires greater access or when additional clearance is needed for patient transfer.
Patient accessibility depends on individual mobility needs and the treatment-room layout. Facilities should evaluate the selected chair configuration as part of their own accessibility planning.
The patient surface adjusts from approximately 21.7 inches to 34.6 inches high. This range allows the practitioner to move the patient closer to the preferred working level rather than relying solely on personal posture or stool adjustments.
The backrest moves through a range of 0 to 76 degrees. Seat tilt adjusts from +7 to +18 degrees, and Trendelenburg positioning up to 18 degrees is available when appropriate under the facility's established clinical protocols.
As the backrest reclines, the legrest extends in a synchronized motion. This coordinated movement changes the chair from compact upright seating to a longer, supported patient surface.
Three preferred chair configurations can be stored in memory. Once programmed, the practitioner can recall a position without separately readjusting each powered movement during every appointment.
The chair also includes automatic programs for common transitions:
These functions may be useful when a podiatry office follows a consistent sequence for consultations, examinations, imaging, and follow-up appointments.

A joystick integrated into the base controls chair movement and stored positions. Because adjustments are made with the foot, the practitioner does not need to reach for a handheld control during routine positioning.
An optional infrared remote is available for offices that want an additional way to operate the chair from different sides of the treatment area.
Low-voltage 24V DC linear actuators power the Linda Evo. Soft-start and soft-stop technology causes movements to begin and finish gradually rather than abruptly.
Hall-sensor limit switches help control the travel of the powered components. Safety stops are incorporated into the backrest and lifting arm to help protect the chair, patient, and nearby equipment during adjustment.

The upholstered patient surface contains viscoelastic polyurethane memory foam. The material responds to body heat and gradually conforms to the patient, helping distribute pressure during longer consultations and examinations.
The cushioning is enclosed in seamless molded upholstery. Its smooth exterior is intended for routine cleaning and care in professional medical environments, with no exposed upholstery seams on the primary patient-contact surface.

The included UNI headrest can be adjusted on multiple axes independently of the chair. This gives the practitioner additional control over head and neck support while the patient is seated or reclined.
Although podiatry work is centered on the lower extremities, adjustable upper-body support can improve overall patient positioning during longer appointments.
The Linda Evo measures approximately 68.9 inches when fully extended. In its upright knee-break position, the leg section retracts to reduce the amount of floor space the chair occupies in front of the chair.
Its symmetrical construction supports either right- or left-handed room arrangements. Practices can place stools, carts, lights, and supporting equipment according to their preferred workflow rather than adapting to a fixed-sided chair configuration.
An optional rotating base allows the chair to turn up to 320 degrees. Instead of moving nearby equipment each time the working direction changes, the practitioner can reorient the chair toward an examination light, imaging device, instrument cart, or consultation area.
This option can be especially useful in smaller rooms or multipurpose spaces where the patient needs to face different equipment during the same appointment.
The Linda Evo may be considered for professional services that benefit from adjustable height, seated entry, and upright-to-reclined patient positioning, including:
The Linda Evo is FDA-listed for sale in the United States and complies with applicable requirements of the European Medical Device Regulation MDR 2017/745.
