Streamlined Non-Integrated Design
The Vale is a non-integrated dental chair, allowing practices complete flexibility when selecting delivery systems, dental lights, cabinetry, imaging equipment, and other clinical accessories. Rather than being tied to a specific delivery unit, the chair adapts easily to a wide variety of operatory layouts and treatment workflows.
This flexibility also simplifies future equipment upgrades while allowing each operatory to be configured around the clinician's preferred workflow.
Smooth Electric Positioning
Low-voltage 24V DC motors provide smooth, quiet electromechanical lifting, lowering, and backrest positioning. Soft-start and soft-stop technology create gradual transitions between chair positions, helping provide a comfortable experience for patients throughout treatment.
The compensated backrest reclines toward a horizontal treatment position while helping maintain comfortable patient positioning during movement.
Three Programmable Working Positions
The Vale stores three programmable working positions for quick recall during routine procedures. Automatic Zero, Rinse, and Last Position programs help streamline patient entry, treatment, and dismissal while reducing repetitive chair adjustments throughout the day.
Hands-Free Joystick Control
The Tecnodent Vale includes a precision foot-operated joystick that allows the dentist to reposition the chair without removing their hands from instruments or interrupting the clinical workflow. Height, backrest movement, and programmed chair positions can be adjusted quickly using intuitive foot controls, helping improve efficiency throughout examinations and procedures.
By keeping chair controls underfoot, the joystick helps maintain focus on the patient while reducing unnecessary hand movement between the treatment area and chair controls.
Designed Around the Dentist
The slim anatomical backrest allows dentists, hygienists, and assistants to position themselves closer to the patient, improving access to the oral cavity while promoting a comfortable working posture. Complete symmetry allows the chair to be configured for either right- or left-handed clinicians without compromising workflow.
The standard double-articulated VALE headrest provides comfortable support while allowing the patient's head and neck to be positioned for a wide range of dental examinations and procedures.
Patient Comfort
The Vale features seamless upholstery over supportive high-quality foam padding, creating a comfortable seating surface while maintaining a clean, contemporary appearance. The seamless upholstery design simplifies routine cleaning and supports the hygiene standards expected in professional dental environments.
A standard rotating left armrest provides additional support as patients enter and exit the chair. The armrest swings away to create unobstructed access when needed and returns easily to provide comfortable support during seating and treatment. An optional matching right rotating armrest is available for practices that prefer support on both sides of the chair.

The Vale was engineered with simplicity in mind. Its dependable electromechanical design reduces unnecessary complexity while providing smooth daily operation and straightforward servicing. An integrated utility compartment helps maintain the chair's clean appearance by organizing internal components within the base.
Designed for the U.S. Market
The Vale complies with the European Medical Device Regulation (MDR 2017/745), is FDA approved for sale in the United States, and is designed and prepared for UL certification. The chair should not be represented as UL Listed unless certification has been confirmed for the final configuration.
Integrated safety stops located on the backrest and lifting pantograph arm help protect both the chair and surrounding equipment during powered movement.
